Flushing Library Summer STEM Internship 2016

My name is Karen Lee and I am a member of the Friends of the Queens Library/Flushing Chapter at 41-17 Main Street.

Our group is running a 6-week summer STEM program at the Main St. library from July 6-Aug. 19, 2016 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am-11:30 am for elementary and middle school-aged children.

We are seeking 6-8 high school-aged students who have an interest and demonstrated ability in STEM subjects to apply for a team associate position for this summer program. Applicants should apply by April 15, 2016.

Stipend for public transportation will be provided along with a Community Service letter of commendation with listed volunteer hours worked.

Flushing Library Friends members will provide oversight on this program.
